This year will see more people than in many years go on holiday in England. There are a couple of reasons for this, but predominantly it is down to finances. A lot of people are less well off than they were last years and it naturally has an effect on possible spending. This doesn't have to be a problem though with many lovely places to visit in England.
Yorkshire is a prime example, and the coastline of this incredible county is a lovely place to holiday. You can take your kids on donkey rides up and down the beaches and enjoy a nice portion of fish and chips on one of the many fine piers or promenades in the area. You will find plenty of Cottages in yorkshire coast to choose form at a reasonable price too.
Another prime spot for British holiday makers is the Lakes. One of the best places to head to if you haven't visited the Lake District before is Windermere. This area if famous for Lake Windermere of course, but it is a lovely area in itself with lots to see and do. You will find that there is lots of accommodation in windermere for you to chose from too. You have to be careful to look at all of the options though because there is some expensive accommodation in the area. You should search online for windermere cottages to find some affordable and beautiful properties.
