One of the beautiful wonders of the world that really fascinates me is the Great Wall of China. The beauty that it has is truly impressive and every tourist who visits China just can't pass the opportunity to witness it first hand.
This very historic wall has protected China and served its emperors for many thousand years. This was originally built to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from invaders. While the enemy is still far, they can already be seen from afar by the wall guards. These walls were built by the different dynasties – Qin, Han, Ming, each with different areas covered. Every dynasty, additional walls were built. It’s truly an impressive creation of man. No wonder its one of the wonders of the world.
