The West End is one of London’s most popular destinations and it is not hard to see why. Many people believe it to be the most active hub of the city, and it is true to say that you are pretty central in the West End. The West End encapsulates most of the top tourist areas of London, including Soho, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Piccadilly and so on. These areas have so much to offer it is no wonder that it is the most busy area of the whole of London.
If you are heading to the West End there is loads to see and do. I would start off by walking as much of the local area as you can to get a good feel for the place.
My perfect night in the West end would start off with a meal at one of the many wonderful restaurants. There must be literally hundreds of restaurants in this area, and many of them are very good value indeed. Have a look around before picking one yourself. After this I would head to one of the many theatres and watch a performance of The Phantom of the opera. There are cheap Phantom of the opera tickets available at the moment if you search online, and it is a wonderful production and one not to be missed.
Personally I would finish off the night at the Comedy Store. This place usually has four or five different comedians performing on a nightly basis, and you will be sure to have a great time no matter what day of the week you attend.
